School!!!

Well, it is official. I started school today. Although, it doesn't feel like I did, mainly because I don't go to "school" so to speak. Taking classes online is like getting exited about a package you are going to get in the mail, then waking up the next morning and remembering you got it yesterday and it is sitting on the table. No climactic anything. No, hustle and bustle, no new faces... nothing.

I can't complain. I don't have to worry about finding my class in time, fighting crowds, or trying to kick someone out of a chair that is mine because I am in the class and they are crashing the class. Man I hated those first couple days of school. All I have to do is sit down in my living room, turn on my laptop, connect to the Internet, and check my online student portal. Easy peasy, lemon squeazy.

One think however, that does tend to suck is the fact that you don't have a bookstore that you can run to after class when you realize you forgot to buy a book. Guess what, I did that. I found my books through the schools online book store. There were two books listed. One was the text book, the other was a Bible. (for those who do not know, I am taking a New Testament History class, hence the Bible) I thought to myself... "self, you already have a great study Bible, you don't need to buy this one." Guess what, I did need to buy that one. I downloaded my course syllabus this morning and sure enough, I needed it. I picked up my other book Saturday. But now, I will not get the Bible until Wednesday.

Man I hate that. Oh well, I guess that is what I get for thinking.
